Washington D.C. Forecast: High humidity remains across the region

A few showers may reach the area overnight. Then back to hot and humid conditions tomorrow.

Overnight:
Mostly cloudy, Muggy, Showers Possible
Lows: 70s
Wind: SW 4-8 m.p.h.
Wednesday:
Partly Sunny, PM T-Showers
Highs: Near 90
Precipitation: 40%
Thursday:
Partly Sunny, T-Storms Likely
Highs: Upper 80s
Precipitation: 60%

An elongated area of low pressure (a trough) across our region and a few weather disturbances moving through the trough?with me so far?....will keep it warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms at times through Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms will become a more widespread on Thursday as a cold front approaches and crosses the area.

On Friday, we are forecasting clearing, cooler and drier weather with lots of sunshine. Saturday looks great, as well, with sunshine and highs in the middle 80s. By Sunday, temperatures and humidity levels will rise a bit and a couple thunderstorms may start popping during the afternoon.
